My research goal is to understand the process-structure-property relations of multiphase micro-/nano-structured lightweight and smart hybrid polymeric composites and foams, which have a variety of applications in the Automotive, Aerospace, Biomedical, Water treatment, Electronics, Sensor, and Packaging industries. 

My research vision encompasses the fabrication and processing of lightweight and smart polymers, as well as composite systems, within diverse manufacturing processes. It involves the comprehensive characterization of these system properties, exploring the correlation between micro- and nano-morphological variations and macro-polymer/composite properties. Additionally, my research includes the application of multiphysics analytical and numerical modeling, including Machine Learning, to gain a deeper understanding of these material systems.
