Welcome to my Research Lab

My research focuses on understanding the process–structure–property relationships in multiphase micro- and nano-structured lightweight and smart polymeric composites and foams, with applications in automotive, aerospace, biomedical, water treatment, electronics, sensors, packaging, and energy storage (including battery systems).

My work integrates materials design, processing, and manufacturing with multiscale characterization to uncover how micro- and nano-scale morphological features govern macroscopic properties. By systematically linking processing conditions to structure and performance, we aim to develop materials with tailored mechanical, thermal, electrical, and functional behaviors.

A key aspect of this research is the use of multiphysics modeling and data-driven approaches, including machine learning, to establish predictive relationships across processing, structure, and properties.
